PKS covers all types of felling around Norfolk & Suffolk (and other areas of the UK) from one off precision felling to complete woodland clearances or woodland paths. We have all types of specialist gear i.e. winches, full range of professional saws which can tackle any tree felling job, also tractors with forwarding units with timber cranes to move /clear large amounts of timber, Also tractor mounted chippers which can harmonise the brash as a natural woodland floor.
Tree surgery
P.K.S. tree surgery are trained in the latest arboreal techniques and use the highest standard equipment to create the finish you desire.
All TPO/conservation areas paper work will be sorted out for you after you have received and authorised your quote. Meetings with local tree officer will be organised and take place through ourselves and highly trained team.
Roadside tree maintenance
From road side grass banks to full mature trees PKS cut and control all road side areas. With the latest road to bank cutting equipment ie; flail, bank mowers, strimmers and traffic control. We clear highways in order for lorries and pedestrians to walk through and drive safely.
PKS provides a 24/7 call out service for emergencies concerning storm damaged areas consisting of wind blown trees that are danger to highways.
woodland management
PKS Norfolk & Suffolk forest division will take any form of woodland maintenance - first thinning in order to create an open/clear forest. Second thinnings, to remove more mature trees or dying/diseased trees to help healthier and more stabilised forest to grow. We also clear unwanted vegetation on forest floor and will chip any branches to create a habitat for wildlife. We can extract timber or leave if more habitat is required. Coppicing can be used as well if requested.
site clearances
PKS Norfolk & Suffolk Tree Surgery specialises in tree felling and removal from one tree to large woodland areas. We cover small orchards to complete forest removal. PKS uses the latest technology and equipment to clear areas safely and easily. We ensure that wood and chipping is cleared up and taken away. with minimal impact on the environment. Stump grinding/removal is available on request.
Stump grinding
Stump removal is possible on any stump with the right equipment and skill from a small shrub to a fully matured oak tree. If the stump is too difficult to grind we provide an extracting service. PKS operates with the latest equipment to remove tree stumps effectively until it full removed.
